Parents' Association

We are very lucky to have a dedicated and supportive Parents’ Association.

Current Officers are:

  • Mrs. Elaine Daly (chairperson)
  • Mrs. Fiona Spillane (secretary)
  • Mrs. Rachel Murphy (treasurer)

The Parents’ Association are very active during the year:

The Parents’ Association work together for the best possible education for their children. In Holy Trinity NS, the Parents’ Association maintain close links with the Board of Management and the Principal to ensure effective partnerships of home and school.

This year the Parents’ Association have prioritised fundraising for musical instruments for the School Band. An Autumn Evening in Concert was held in October, 2016. The Clonmel Concert Band, the Unity Choir from Kilkenny and Mr. Derek Ryan performed in a truly wonderful evening of music in Fethard, thoroughly enjoyed by all. The proceeds have been used to purchase trumpets, trombones, saxophones, flutes, clarinets and percussion instruments for the school.

The Parents’ Association also help in many other ways throughout the year:

  • They help to organise the annual Bric-a-Brac and Cake Sale.
  • They help the school to facilitate Grandparents’ and Grandfriends’ Day.
  • They help the school with Sports Day.
  • They help the school to organise the Pupil Personal Accident Insurance cover.
  • They help the school with school concerts.
  • They help the school and the teachers in taking care of the school vegetable and wild flower gardens, the poly-tunnel and the wooded area.
  • They help us to cover the many books that are part of our Book Rental Scheme.
  • And much, much more….

We very much appreciate their involvement and support.
