We are now working towards achieving our fourth Green Flag, the Travel Flag. It takes two years to complete and we are now well on our way! Our green school team consists of children from 1st to 6th Class and we involve infants by informing them about what we have done and involving them in actions and projects that are taking place! Our 'Green Team' have been working hard with a Green Schools' rep, Hans, who has been in school to talk to teachers, parents and the children on how to best work towards achieving our next Green Flag. 6th Class, with the help of Hans, have mapped out our homes so that we can see how realistic it would be for us to walk to school. The Green Team have discussed the results of this and the results of a whole school travel survey to try to get an 'action plan' together. We are hoping to restart a walking to school initiative in the coming weeks and look forward to the work that we will be doing to achieve this flag!
