Senior Infants have been very busy learning all about the Post Office and practising their handwriting over the past few weeks. The children put their hard work into action by writing their very own letters to Santa, taking great care with their neat writing and lovely ideas.
To finish our topic, we took a special trip to the local Post Office. Each child had the chance to buy a stamp and post their all-important letter, with great excitement as they watched it disappear into the post box on its journey to the North Pole.
Now, the class is waiting patiently (and very hopefully!) for a reply from Santa himself. A wonderful experience from start to finish! 🎄📮
