On Monday and Tuesday, Maeve visited our school with Maeve’s dog, Penny! Maeve told us about what Dogs Trust do and some of the main reasons that people surrender their dogs - money, space and time! She then told us all about safety around dogs, when not to approach them (when they’re eating/sleeping!) and how asking their owner is important if we want to pet them or play with them! We learned loads and hope that we can use some of this knowledge to help us and Geansaí to feel safe and happy in school on the days that she visits!
