We had five caterpillars in Junior Infants. The children enjoyed watching them grow and we were very excited when they formed a cocoon around themselves. The children watched these each day for any changes. What a surprise they got to school on a Monday morning to see four beautiful butterflies flying around in their habitat.We had to wait another day for number five to emerge.
