Last month we finished our learning on Africa. We researched Nelson Mandela using the iPads and used this information to create body biographies which are pictured below. We also drew African animals as part of our art that week and coloured them using oil pastels. We included lots of patterns and colour which was inspired by the Ndebele people in Africa. Finally we watched the Invictus movie which showed us how Nelson Mandela used the Springboks rugby team to unite the people of South Africa following his election as President.
