Music and School Band

This year Holy Trinity NS has undertaken a new music initiative aimed at enriching the education of the children in the school. This year, with the help of the Parents’ Association, we have purchased instruments to form a school band. 3^rd class children will learn to play the trumpet, the trombone, the flute, the clarinet, the saxophone and percussion instruments. They receive weekly lessons and come together as a band on Friday to play together. The children are very enthusiastic about this programme and we are really looking forward to seeing them progress over the next few years.
